It is important to clarify that this is not a note-taking app.

Can it be used as a note-taking app? Absolutely. The same way a car can be used as a house. It is not its purpose, it was not designed for that, but such use is possible, even if not practical.

This is, at its core, a writing habit builder. The result of that is a draft of a story, which can be a book, an article, or anything you can fit in the structure given. At no point we are aiming to replace more complex apps or systems aimed at creating a beautiful and professional looking text. Drafty Story is where you build the draft you’ll use later on to create your final version, with rich format and all the checks needed for a clean text.

All the features we implement are developed with the purpose of serving that core goal. This simplicity also serves accessibility. Anything that does not take you from A to B needs to go.
